Please fill out the form below to begin the application process. When this is completed you should send your CV and any other relevant documents to the guild’s email address info@hgi.ie. Once we have received both your CV, documents, and completed form, we will get in touch with you about the progress of your application.

If you are successful, we will ask you to send us a photo of yourself for our website’s members directory. It can be a headshot, a selfie, a photo of you on set, accepting an award, a personal logo, or an image you are comfortable with. We do encourage sending a photo as it will help you stand out on our directory page.

Please be aware that the running of this site, our email, and the HGI guild committee is staffed by volunteers. This means our office hours may be unconventional and sporadic. While we make every effort to reply to and process applications promptly, we ask for patience and will be in touch with you as soon as is available to us.

Membership Fees

Fees paid yearly and in accordance to grades

Juniors – €40

Hairdressers – €50

Heads of Department (HODs) – €60

Upon successful membership application we will send you a standing order form.
