If you would like to join our network of hair professionals, we offer two types of memberships:
Junior Member
Junior membership is designed for individuals in the Junior grade who have been actively working within the Irish hair industry for the past 5 years. This grade is intended for those who have successfully completed their traineeship*, but are not yet fully qualified as a Hairdresser. Junior members are typically in the early stages of their professional journey, building their experience and skill set. This membership provides them with access to resources, training, and networking opportunities to support their growth as they work towards achieving full certification.
Hairstylist
Hairstylist membership sits between Junior Member and Head of Department, offering a key position for professionals with a growing portfolio of experience in the Irish hair industry. Hairstylists have typically built a strong foundation after completing their traineeship* and gaining hands-on experience across various projects. They are skilled in their craft, capable of handling a wide range of tasks, and are trusted to work independently or as part of a team. Hairstylist members have access to resources that support their development as they work towards more senior roles, such as Head of Department, and continue to expand their expertise within the industry.
Head of Department
Full membership applies to all Hairdressers who have been actively working in the Irish hair industry over the past 5 years. This membership is for professionals who have gained significant experience and expertise, and are recognised for their skills in the field. Full members are eligible for a range of exclusive benefits, including access to advanced training, industry insights, and the opportunity to connect with peers and potential collaborators.
